Sternula – first Danish commercial satellite operator

Task

Sternula builds a satellite-based service and communications company, which allows for cheap, global connectivity to every ship with a VHF antenna no matter if it operates in the Arctics or near the Equator.

Our worldwide potential customers who can benefit from this should be identified, informed, listened to, and successfully served by a novel technology, which will be a digital revolution for the maritime industry.

Your role

You will be our senior sales person working directly with our CEO and our internal and external sales team members. You will also be in a good relationship with the management, marketing, and technical teams to gain a strong understanding of our products and at the same time provide valuable market insights to shape new products and development. Developing and adjusting the current sales strategy is part of the work. Creativity on how to sell a new service is a must. Traveling nationally and internationally up to 100 days/year should be expected.

About You

We believe that you are a sales professional with 5 years or more experience in international business-to-business sales to the private and/or governmental sector. Having previously worked with space technology or the maritime sector is a strength. You might hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or similar, and you are curious, self-driven and a fast learner.

You are also a person that likes to share experience with others to make the team stronger. You are open and passionate about working with people from different backgrounds and nationalities. You have a positive attitude.
